Active paddling and lush scenery on the McKenzie
Our half-day McKenzie River rafting trip offers 2.5 to 3 hours of active and splashy but relatively easy paddle rafting on one of Oregon’s most beautiful rivers. The trip begins at Paradise Campground and runs 10 miles to Bruckhart boat ramp (near McKenzie Bridge). Round-trip transportation is included from Bend, Sisters or Black Butte Ranch, or you can meet us at Paradise Campground if coming from Eugene. The river is active with lots of whitewater, but technically easy. While lunch is not provided on the half-day trip, simple snacks (granola bars and fruit) will be available. For Eugene, Sisters and Bend residents and visitors, the McKenzie provides the most convenient, scenic and thrilling whitewater rafting experience.
| "Just wanted to pass along a short message of the experience we had on our half-day float on the McKenzie… You probably get many letters stating how great the crew was in making the river experience enjoyable; however I did not want to leave our guides out of that picture. Jared, Tim, Amy and Jason were the best we could have hoped for. They exuded the utmost professionalism, attitudes, and the feeling that they actually enjoyed putting up with 10 strangers. From what I have heard, Ouzel has a reputation for this type of experience by their guests." |
