School is Out - Summer is InSunny Day on the Rogue River
Congratulations to all of our graduating seniors and to all of our younger scholars for completing another year of study. Summer is here and it’s time to start thinking about how to squeeze the most excitement and fondest memories out of your limited “getaway” time this summer. We recommend fitting in a day of whitewater excitement with your friends and family. Choose from a variety of rivers convenient to Bend, Portland and Eugene and spend a day in the Oregon outdoors. For those with graduating seniors, a multi-day wilderness river trip on the Rogue River or Idaho's Lower Salmon is the perfect venue for a family to celebrate the end of one era and beginning of a new chapter in life. Reward your kids, create shared family memories and join us for a whitewater adventure this The Scenic and Exciting North Umpquasummer.

North Umpqua River – Paddle Rafting at its Best!
June and early July offers the best rafting on the North Umpqua River. Dependent upon snow-melt, the Umpqua delivers the most excitement in the early summer before water flows begin to drop in August. From Boulder Flat to Susan Creek, the Umpqua twists and drops its way through boulder-strewn gorges and idyllic pools with towering evergreen forests surrounding you all the way. Numerous class II & III rapids and electrifying Pinball Rapid provide an active and exhilarating ride. Combine a whitewater adventure on the North Umpqua with a trip to nearby Crater Lake National Park, a stay at historic Steamboat Lodge or camping and fishing at Diamond Lake.

Trip Specials - Find Great Deals on Raft Trips
With today’s economic challenges, finding a good deal is more Summer Fun - Water Fight!important than ever. There are a wide variety of outdoor vacation opportunities to choose from, but few offer a better and more comprehensive mix of excitement, exploration, scenery and quality time with family and friends then a whitewater rafting adventure. The best deals can be found on our Trip Specials Page and the savvy rafter will check it often. See what’s there now!

Owyhee Season Wrap Up
Thanks to everyone who made this year’s Owyhee River Rafting season a success! The season delivered its usual assortment of rain, wind and sun (maybe a little more wind and rain than usual). Highlights included aOwyhee River - Oregon's Grand Canyon particularly violent blast of wind that took out our 20 x 20 kitchen tarp and half the kitchen, and multiple scenes of “carnage” during our last trip. “We saw a couple of other groups who had wrapped their rafts on a rocks. Our guides were completely professional in their handling of the situations and kept us at ease. We never felt that they weren't capable of handling whatever the river 'threw' at them/us.” For those who did not get the chance to explore this spectacular canyon this year, we’re already taking reservations for 2010. Book before November 1st to receive 2009 rates. 2010 Departure Dates: April 13, 20, 27; May 4, 11, 18.

This Month's Quote
“What makes a river so restful to people is that it doesn't have any doubt - it is sure to get where it is going, and it doesn't want to go anywhere else.”           - Hal Boyle
