Everyone gets wet on the North Umpqua
The North Umpqua River is set in the Umpqua National forest and the southern Oregon Cascade Mountains. Our one-day North Umpqua River rafting trip begins at Boulder Flat Campground and explores 15 exciting miles to Gravel Bin Boat Ramp. The North Umpqua River is a steep and rugged canyon, with towering Douglas Fir forests shading the crystal clear water as it leaps and cascades through deep gorges and boulder-strewn channels. Classic rapids such as Boulder Drop, Toilet Bowl, Cardiac Arrest and the famous Pinball provide Oregon's best paddle rafting experience. All trips meet at the Gravel Bin Boat Ramp, near the historic Steamboat Inn – a great place to extend your visit to the area. If you're visiting Roseburg, Crater Lake National Park or Diamond Lake Resort, a whitewater rafting trip on the North Umpqua is close, convenient and guaranteed to thrill.
| "We had such a good time last year that we were prepared for this trip to be a let down. We were wrong – it was a blast! We were impressed again with your company’s professionalism and attention to safety. Saw another company take a group out without helmets – we were glad we had them!
