The Rogue River is our most popular family rafting adventure. Our 4-day Rogue River rafting trip explores between 37 miles of the wilderness section of the Rogue. All of our Rogue River trips meet at the Galice Resort, near Merlin, OR - about 25 miles from the city of Grants Pass. After a morning orientation (with plenty of time to pack), we launch for the first of four spectacular days. After a few miles of easy warm up rapids, we encounter our first whitewater challenges at Graves Creek Rapids and Grave Creek Falls. For safety reasons, our guests walk around Rainie Falls, while the guides maneuver the rafts through the tricky channels. Keep your camera handy and watch for Salmon leaping at the falls. Each day brings plenty of whitewater and a wide range of activities to satisfy the adventurous, the studious, kids and parents. We’ll visit western novelist Zane Grey’s historic fishing camp, enjoy short hikes to idyllic swimming holes on pristine side creeks and have plenty of opportunities for swimming in the warm water. Keep a lookout for black bear patrolling the riverbanks and bald eagles soaring along the canyon walls. On the third day we venture into the heart of the canyon, negotiating the narrow and fast currents of Mule Creek Canyon (one of the most dramatically scenic places you’ll ever experience) and the maze of boulders at Blossom Bar Rapid. Each night, our comfortable camps are set in idyllic surroundings with opportunities to hike and explore, swim, or relax with a glass of wine and a book from our river library. On our final day we reach our take-out near Agness, Oregon in the early afternoon. The return transportation to Galice takes us on a very scenic tour of the remote and rugged Siskiyou Mountains.

"I picked your outfit due to my interactions by phone with your office personnel. I liked your “vibe” and outlook on rafting and the environment. I was pleasantly surprised to find my intuition was great! The guides were terrific! The meals were fantastic! Your attention to our “elder” was exceptional. "
    Jodi S. (Rogue River)
