2007 Season is Coming to a Close

Thank you to all of our guests who have made 2007 a successful rafting season. Labor Day weekend is coming up and marks the "beginning of the end" as kids head back to school and folks begin thinking about snow. We'll continue to run trips into October and have some great deals available in September

September Specials

Deschutes River

1-Day Trips: $85/person (must have a minimum of 6 participants to run)
2-Day Trips: Save $30/person on Sep 4, 8 & 15. Take one last "weekend getaway" while the weather is still warm. All camping gear and gourmet meals

Rogue River
Save $100 on our premier 4-day/3-night Rogue River Rafting Adventure. Our last trip launches on Sept 6. Fully outfitted with comfortable camping gear and gourmet meals. This is a great time to be on the Rogue. Fall colors and fewer rafters provide an excellent opportunity to get away and relax for a few days.

Now Taking Reservations for 2008
If you didn't have a chance to take a trip in 2007 or can't wait for your next whitewater adventure, now is the time to make your reservation for next year. Dates for the spectacular Owyhee and the beautiful and exciting North Umpqua are already listed on the website and Rogue and Salmon River dates for 2008 will be posted on the first

of September. After a disappointing winter on the Owyhee last year, we're looking forward to a better water year in 2008. Our Owyhee trips tend to fill up so don't delay in getting your reservation soon. The North Umpqua is also a good river to make your reservation early. In 2007 we were sold out for the season by mid June. Returning guests receive a 10% discount off the regular price for all regular trips and if you make your reservation before November 1st, you will receive 2007 pricing.

The Nature Conservancy in 2008

Ouzel Outfitters has been a proud partner of the Nature Conservancy for over 15 years. Our Nature Conservancy sponsored trips are some of our most popular adventures and focus on interpretation and an appreciation of our wild places. We are proud to support the conservation efforts of the Nature Conservancy. Trip fares for Nature Conservancy trips include a contribution to the Nature Conservancy. For 2008 we are offering a 4-day/3-night camping trip on the Wild & Scenic Rogue (August 9th) and a 5-day/4-night camping trip on the spectacular and remote Owyhee River (April 27th). Trip Evaluation Forms

Thanks to everyone who has filled out and returned a guest information form this year. The feedback you give us about your rafting experience is invaluable in helping us to improve our trips. All evaluation forms we receive before November 1st will be entered into a drawing for a free river trip in 2008.
