Ouzel Outfitters has raft & equipment rentals available in Bend, Oregon, for the do-it-yourself rafter. We do not deliver equipment to the river. Equipment must be picked up from and returned to our location in Bend, Oregon. We assume that rental customers have the knowledge and experience to safely and properly use the equipment rented. We cannot make recommendations on appropriate rivers or river segments. If you are unsure of the river or river segment that would be appropriate for your group and/or are not confident in your skills or use of the equipment, you should consider one of our fully-outfitted and professionally guided whitewater rafting adventures!

Rental Information & Policies
Being Safe on the River
We assume that our renters have the experience and knowledge necessary to undertake the trip for which they are renting equipment. Being safe on the river means having the right equipment, knowing how to use that equipment, proper preparation for the expected water and weather conditions, knowing what to do in case of an emergency and above all, WEARING YOUR LIFE JACKET! Reservations, Payments & Cancellations
Advanced reservations are required and must be made by phone. Renters must be 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license and major credit card. 50% of the full fare is due at time of reservation and the final balance is due 7 days before your scheduled pick-up date. Rentals are fully refundable up to 30 days prior to you scheduled pick-up date. Between 30 days and 7 days prior to your scheduled pick-up date, a 10% cancellation fee will apply. Cancellations within 7 days of your pick-up date and time are not eligible for refunds. If your trip is cancelled due to insufficient water levels, dangerously high water levels or river closures, a full refund will be offered. The renter-of-record must be present to pick up and sign for the rental.
Assumption of Risk / Rental Waiver
Every person in your group who will be a passenger (or is likely to be a passenger) in an Ouzel rental raft at any time during your trip must sign the Rental Waiver. Only a parent or legal guardian can sign for participants under the age of 18. Rental waivers can be signed in person when you pick up your rental, or electronically online. All rental waivers must be signed before departing with your rental.
Early Season 2-Day Minimum on Weekend Rentals
From May 1st to July 1st, all rentals including any part of the period from 12:00 p.m. on Friday through Sunday are subject to a 2-day minimum rental. One-day weekend rentals are available for remaining rafts after 12:00 p.m. on Friday. This does not apply to inflatable kayaks.
Not Available for Rent
We do not rent Portable Toilets, Rescue Equipment (except for throw ropes), First Aid Kits, Kitchen Equipment, Camping Gear, Fire Pans or personal gear such as paddle jackets, wetsuits and booties.
